Santa, a Life Size Snow Globe and Sweet Cocoa Gave Everyone a Taste for the Holidays!
Kids enjoyed visiting Santa, making holiday crafts, eating yummy treats, playing in a life-size snow globe and more! The evening culminated in the magical lighting of Alameda Circle trees, iconic fountain and gazebo. Several Olmos Park Youth Commission members volunteered on Sunday, Dec. 1. to help kids make a holiday craft, bake and bring cookies, play cornhole and other opportunities! Toys were collected for OPYC Toy Drive benefiting The Children’s Shelter. The collection drive continues through Dec. 22 with a collection box at City Hall.
OUR GRATITUDE TO THIS YEAR’S LIGHT OP SPONSORS, SUPPORTERS & UNDERWRITERS.
SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR GENEROUS SPONSORS whose funding helps Olmos Park Youth Commission produce this event, provide an opportunity for our community to gather and ring in the holidays and for our youth members to gain service opportunities and leadership skills.
SPECIAL THANKS also to our anonymous supporters who oversee the tree lights each year. Their warm glow over our community creates a magical space for all to find peace and enjoy.
