PRESIDENTIAL VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD
Olmos Park Youth Commission is a certifying organization for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). Our award year is Sept. 1 of current year through Aug 31 of the following year. The last day to report your service hours for certification is Sept. 15. If you miss this deadline, feel free to contact OPYC by call/text/email with your questions.
In order to qualify for OPYC to include a member’s service hours combined with service hours earned through outside organizations for PVSA award certification, the OPYC member must complete a minimum of 15 OPYC-specific service hours and provide evidence of non-OPYC community service (a log signed by organization representatives and/or service hour reports on organization letterhead and signed by a representative.)
