Olmos Park Youth Commission hosted its first annual Thanksgiving potluck Monday, November 19 beginning at 11 a.m. in appreciation of our Olmos Park city, police and fire staffs. While we were working on assembling the city’s new Christmas ornaments, the staffs (mentioned above) had their pick of Thanksgiving-inspired foods to enjoy during their lunch breaks.
Foods featured at the potluck included a home-cooked turkey, ham, stuffing, fruit salads, green bean casserole, corn casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, pecan pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, brownies, vegetable trays, fresh baked bread,
