Olmos Park Youth Commission hosted its first annual Thanksgiving potluck Monday, November 19 beginning at 11 a.m. in appreciation of our Olmos Park city, police and fire staffs. While we were working on assembling the city’s new Christmas ornaments, the staffs (mentioned above) had their pick of Thanksgiving-inspired foods to enjoy during their lunch breaks.

Foods featured at the potluck included a home-cooked turkey, ham, stuffing, fruit salads, green bean casserole, corn casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, pecan pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, brownies, vegetable trays, fresh baked bread,

Special thanks to Olmos Park City Secretary Diane Gonzales for coordinating on behalf of the city of Olmos Park and to the following for providing the delicious foods for our  youth commission’s inaugural potluck: The Beuhler Family, The Bullock Family, The Greenberg Family, The Kelly Family, The Labatt Family, The Lathrop Family, The Mazloum Family, The McBirnie Family, The Parkhurst Family, The Person Family, The Satel Family, and The Spezia-Lindner Family for providing the foods.
