Initiative part of Junior Girls Scouts Bronze Award Project

Members Charlotte Hull and Elsa Robelo are Junior Girl Scouts working on their Bronze Awards. They have created an initiative to help the homeless in San Antonio through SAMMinistries. The nonprofit organization helps homeless families move into temporary or transitional housing. The items requested (see below) are to help those families get off to a good start.
Charlotte and Elsa invite OPYC members, families and friends to support SAMMinistries important mission by donating different cleaning and hygiene materials (see the list below).
Earn one service hour (up to 4 hours total) for every bag of 5-to-6 of any of the following NEW unused items. A variety is encouraged and appreciated.
To receive service hours, you must mark you name on the donation bag and log your donation by clicking on the red box link. This will help us maintain a list of donors.
Brooms, mops, dustpans, toilet brush and plunger set, laundry detergent pods, 13 gallon trash bags, plastic buckets, Swiffer Duster, kitchen sponges, body wash, hand sanitizer or wipes, body wash, feminine sanitary items, hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes & toothpaste.
